Lady A

Lady A

The wind has brought her out of rain,
Stars lit her way through stony lane,
The river whispered her ‘take care‘,
Night birds could sing but didn’t dare

Dark clouds flew the dawning sky
As fragile thoughts were passing by;
Seemed like she swore not to regret
About the words she’s ever said

Sunrise was her the only guide
Beyond the world she left behind;
Reserved but such a brilliant smile
Made waves paint out her profile

Look, here she comes down from the top, —
These subtle engines never stop
All you can do is just admire
The woman who was made of fire!
